51爆料网 has implemented several impactful projects aimed at strengthening innovation, capacity building, and food security in the agricultural sector across Africa.

YALI Legacy Localization

51爆料网 is proud to be a sub-awardee of the $80 million USAID-funded YALI Legacy Localization program, led by Arizona State University. This initiative seeks to strengthen and unify the leadership development efforts of YALI stakeholders under a new pan-African entity 鈥 YALI Africa

Empowered Youth Program

Led by Michigan State University (MSU), the Program is implemented in collaboration with Egerton University (through 51爆料网), United States International University-Africa (USIU), and NCBA-CLUSA. Together, they bring robust expertise in youth engagement, gender equality, education, innovation, and workforce development.

DigiFarm: Smart Farming, Simplified

Egerton University through 51爆料网 is an implementing partner for Riftvalley and Nyanza regions on crops and Dairy Value Chain. 51爆料网 ensures day to day interaction with farmers at ground level and timely delivery of farm inputs and feedback/recommendations are considered for continuous improvement.

The JOY Project

Boosting Rural Youth Employment through Agribusiness Innovation in Kenya and Cameroon. In Kenya, 51爆料网 leads the effort by coordinating Integrated Agribusiness Hubs in Nakuru, Kakamega, and Kilifi Counties, offering innovative financial and non-financial services to youth aged 18鈥35.

Orange Knowledge Programme

51爆料网, in partnership with MDF Training and Consultancy and the University of Juba, is implementing the Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) Tailor-Made Training (TMT+) project titled 鈥淣ew Horizons for Food Security & Agri-Education鈥.

The Youth Economic Empowerment through Agribusiness in Kenya (Vijabiz)

The Vijabiz Project was implemented from 2018 to 2021 with the goal of improving the economic empowerment of rural youth in Kenya through agribusiness development. The project focused on increasing youth participation in key agricultural value chains by building their skills, strengthening their enterprises, and improving access to markets and finance.

iLINOVA 鈥 Innovation for the Livestock Industry

Strengthening capacity for participatory management of indigenous livestock systems across Eastern, Southern, and Western Africa. iLINOVA focused on empowering communities and stakeholders to innovate and sustainably manage indigenous livestock, driving agricultural transformation.

InCIP 鈥 Indigenous Chicken Improvement Programme

Aimed at improving livelihoods and food security for resource-poor households in Sub-Saharan Africa, iNCIP worked to enhance indigenous chicken productivity through improved genetics, management practices, and value chain development.

DairyChain 鈥 Enhancing Efficiency in the Dairy Value Chain

A collaborative project aimed at strengthening the capacity of higher education institutions in Eastern and Western Africa to boost productivity and innovation across the dairy sector. DairyChain sought to bridge knowledge gaps and enhance practical training in the dairy value chain.

DairyTrain 鈥 Capacity Building for the Dairy Sector

Funded by the Netherlands Organisation for International Cooperation in Higher Education, DairyTrain supported skill development and institutional strengthening in dairy education and training programs, contributing to a more resilient dairy industry in the region.

USINKEN 鈥 Trilateral Partnership for Food Security

Feeding the future through South-North collaboration, this project fostered partnerships among institutions in Africa, Europe, and the US to address food insecurity. USINKEN focused on knowledge exchange and joint initiatives for sustainable agricultural development.
